I believe a woman will NORMALLY wear only as much makeup as makes her feel comfortable--some only wearing eye and lip cosmetics. I think that you asked a question you already knew the answer to. Any man,woman,or well trained dog could post a misleading photograph. It could be that MR. Beerbelly was just sucking his breath in when the photo was taken,or had his head altered to look like Colin Farrel or whoever. So my counter question is: Is it normal,desperate,or just a lure to bring in prospects with money who have never seen a fashion magazine?

I had a lady who I wrote to and when I said I was coming to meet her she sent her latest pic which I wouldn't have looked twice at - yeh you say I'm being shallow, but it's not as simple as that - her profile showed a pic at least ten years old and her eyes sparkledand she had a gorgeous smile, whereas the new pic she looked sour and unhappy. So you see it's not the beauty of the face but the beauty of the soul. I have written, and writing to ladies who are not models, but are far more beautiful inside that any beauty Queen. When I look at a profile he first thing I look at is the eyes and then the smile. Oh, also the models are usually guys using false pics and trying to scam you.
