 russian women visiting Canada

This is a question that I am sure has been asked before. Is it impossible for a Russian woman to get a visa as a visitor to Canada? Does anyone have any experience in this area?

I mean if your girl has enough evidences to proof your close relation to the consulate people. Shall I say that "the internet meeting" is not that fair evidence and not so obvious for them?

Are you sure she is not going to scam you? Normally women here are not ready to pay themselves a flight fare to the North America.

I would like to go to Buenos Ares... anyone desires to invite me? :))

No scam here..This question is for my information. I was scammed quite a while ago on another site, so now I'm alot more careful. I've ran into a couple of scammers here too.

The requirements that the Canadian Embassy has for a temporary visitor visa does not seem to get that specific.

Meet the girl in her own country - and never give money to a girl that you have never met !!!!! And even if you have met her think before you hand money over for a flight/visa.

Being a US/UK citizen, in both these countries it is very difficult to get visitor visa unless she owns a house, has children, or some proof that she reason to return. Girls from Ukraine/Russia can only get visa into these countries normally on spouse/fiance visa, or on a student exchange prog or on a work visa.

My best friend is Canadian and he has a S Korean wife and they had been married for over 1 yr in S Korea, and she could not get visitor visa for Canada, and they had to get spouse visa for her which took 4 months. I can't see any difference between S Korea and Russia/Ukraine, can you?
