I知 going to Colombia two in a month for a vacation and for some research work too. I知 working on my culinary skills and I want to explore more on Latin food. My first stop is Colombia since my brother is going for joining romance tours held there. I値l tag along with him then would just do my own thing when we get there.
What I知 thinking now is if it痴 better to hire a guide to show me around places or to just wing it and go on my own. I知 interested in some local tourist spots but mostly I want to visit traditional dining places. I want to taste authentic Colombian food rather than the modern dishes.
Are there any government appointed guides or are they all private? How do I book one and how much would it cost. I need all the help I can get. Thanks.
