Something tragic just happened... A couple of months ago, my girlfriend whom I met abroad through a romance tour gave me a dog as a parting gift. A few days ago, the dog ate something while we were on our morning walk and later caught something serious.
I didn’t realize he was ill until hours before it passed away on the way to the vet. It turns out that he ate something poisonous and I was too preoccupied to see the signs that it was sick. My girlfriend still doesn’t know and I’m so scared to break the news to her.
I feel so guilty that I wasn’t able to properly take care of her beloved pet. I honestly don’t know what to do. I need some tips and advice on how I should handle the situation and how I can bring up the conversation with her. Please! I need some guidance!
