Ahhhh-James and Liliya,you shouldn`t tease Jeff like that. After all he did not say how big the sailboat has to be or even if it has to float on water. It may be that he wants one of those little schooners in a bottle!!

I love to sail,except in a very small boat in high seas. I had a bad experience in a storm without a motor which lasted 14 hours> The seas drifted the small boat into the international shipping lanes near the San Juan Islands near Canada. ( While we were sleeping below deck ) I thought we were going to die,and after 14 hours on the boat,when we made it to the beach,my legs would not work. We had no water or food left either. For 2 days after this,my legs felt like they were still moving on the water. But I still love it--with a motor in case the wind quite blowing. I especially love the smaller catamarans on a lake. They are very fast,and it does not take a lot of wind for them to move quickly.

I have a 3 meter long lorry. I can stand a long pole in it,and fasten a blanket for a sail! I`ll even wear a captain`s hat and yell out orders to Jeff. Dammit--reef that main sail!! Come about quick you landlubber!! Hoist the genoa sail ( bedsheet ),hold fast on that tiller!!! Hurry up and reef that jib sail man!!

Only a very responsible and experienced person should sail on the ocean. Difficulties can happen so fast ,and you must react very quickly. If you have ever seen some of the old movies with the captains shouting orders at the men--it is because the only thing in the world is wind and sun and sea,and a man who can control his boat. But the larger boats need more then one man,and these men must work together for the good of the boat and so they will not have a wreck.
