Please excuse my Romanized Russian, but Happy Independence to all Ukraine! Twelve years is not a long time to be free and democratic, but it's a miracle to see ancient Ukraine join the modern free world.
It seems that Poland, Byeloruss, Ukraine and Russia have common interests in Eastern Europe. Do people feel that there should be closer political ties as well, with the assurance that no one country will be dominated by the next?
The world's challenge for the immediate future is 1) Freedom for the people,and 2)Sharing and developing the world's resources. Contrary to what some people believe the USA is dedicated to those ideals.
Every American wants Iraq to be a model country in the Middle East, a leader for others. Our men and women have died to start the process and we will see that the job is finished no matter how long it takes.
How does everybody else feel about it?
